Are we? I seem to remember it being mentioned a while back. I also seem to remember a date of some time around the new year. Is this fact or am I just having an eggnog induced memory problem.

Is there a timetable? Have you chosen the new software?

I came to this section with that question on my mind too. Bumpage!

I just want the new software to give me a current page when I use the "back" button on my iPhone. Currently, it brings up a page that is at least a month old at least half tr time.

Check out the Classic Motorsports forum to see the future. There's some irony there.

The most important thing you should be doing is checking the date on that eggnog. We have had enough posts about digestive problems recently.

The new version of the Classic site has taught us some lessons, and forced us to change the timing on the GRM redesign.

Board software is likely NOT to be changed; there's an active user base and a long history of content that we don't particularly want to lose, not to mention the fact that I suspect some of you would be kinda upset if your post count went to zero and you had to create a brand new profile. For now, I think we're sticking with the devil we know for the message boards and general site architecture.

I for one would trade everyone' postcount for a message board that acts like every other messageboard I've ever been on. This one's handling of spacing and lists, for example, is bizarre. Advrider uses vBulletin, and other than not allowing three-letter search terms, it supports damn near 200,000 users in an easy to use format (though I find the user profile/avatar space next to every post a little oversized).

Oh god I hope not. That stupid menu bar on the lefthand side takes up a third of my poor X60s' screen!
