    I imagine this has been asked by everyone and their brother, but can we figure out a way to embed YouTube videos at the least?

    I have seen it brought up several times that people don't want to click on the video links that people put up. I don't know if its because they don't want to be directed to another site or something.

    Several members here also make a new post and just post a link to a video, nothing else. A lot of people avoid that too.

    There are several other "cheaply made" forums out there that do it, I just can't see why we couldn't do it here.

    Probably won't happen on this version of the forum. They're working on the new one, so it doesn't make sense to waste time tweaking this one. Because they are are working on the new one, though, this may be the right time to make requests.

    FWIW, though, I can understand if they don't do it....removing as much user-input HTML as possible is a good way to reduce cross site scripting attacks

    That's true. I just like the embedding that is available on other forums I use.

    Yeah, big changes are coming down the pike, so we'll probably hold off on adding that feature now.
