Any chance we can get a first / last page links on thread pages?

I have a similar idea to this:
Instead of a "section" that lists who originated the thread...how about a change to WHEN the thread originated? I mean, someone thinks it's important to list how long it's been since the last post on a thread was made, it would seem that the date it started should have equal weight.
BTW, while I'm not a programmer, I realize this change would not be an easy one to make...just consider it for future "revisions" along with the request for a listing of the "last" page on a thread. And i realize that that also would take a bit of programming and storage capacity to manage.
