About 2/3rds of the time I'm on GRM this morning a random search box has appeared somewhere that looks like the one we used to have up top. Sometimes it's imbedded in a post, other times it's "floating".
Only happens on GRM, and with two different PC's, so I didn't catch a virus. Both are Windows7 / Firefox / AdBlock machines.
I can see it now...

We're actively working on the search box. Sorry about the inconvenience, we're working on installing anchors now. When it's all over (for now) it should land between the user info block and the navigation tools on the left column.
I can report that at least the box seemed to work decently okay at searching things!

The search bar is now secured, so these problems should be gone now. If you're still seeing that problem (or the half-blocked ad space at the top of the page) you should flush out the cookies in your browser, but try refreshing the page first.
