Totally depends. I know, not a great answer, but it's hard to say. I think if you're familiar with the magazine, then it's pretty obvious what we're after. (Again, I know, another lame answer.)

Having a sticker on your car helps.
A decent picture helps a lot.
A cool car and/or story helps most.

Howzabout an "Auto-X Magazine" sticker? I had one from my stash on my '91 STS2 Miata at the 2006 Solo Nats. I've got another on my old Snap-On box.

Stickers are usually shipped fairly quickly. When did you order them? And was the request made through our online store?

Yeah I am, been a subscriber for about 3 years. An S52 swapped E30, with custom 17s, Ground Control coilovers, etc. Basically will end up being prepped almost to the limits of Street Modified.
But swapped E30s are becoming pretty common place.

Trust me, a 17.4 car doesn't require a helmet! But at least I ran 80mph through the traps and it didn't break.

Hahaha, i was just playing.
I ran my old car at IRP two years ago with NO interior whatsoever. The girl asked me where my helmet was. She could never figure out why i was laughing.
Your car sounded amazing, by the way.

'Preciate that. She ran well. Wished she had a better driver for the auto-x, but it still netted 3rd in the slalom. Car has potential and sounds mean as all get out. Just needs a driver that can keep up with it. Of course, 60* and windy on a damp and gritty auto-x course aren't the best recipe for grip either.
After all this work, I still say it was worth it. Just gotta convince the wife!
