The perpetrator of such insults has been contacted. We aren't going to apply a scoring system to troll behavior, so if the shoe fits, wear it.

If your hands are clean, keep them that way, eh? Better yet, avoid taking part in stupid flounder threads.

Sorry for the perceived insult--I was attempting to be an equal-opportunity discourager of BOTH sides of that particular nastyfight, and chose a humorous snippet that obviously hit you in the wrong place. Now please stop.

I can certainly understand that mentality, but some of us actually like to discuss the issues. I am not holding myself in super-high-regard there, but I really do think that some of us had a good conversation going in both the religion thread and the birther thread.

Note, though, that I (among others, from the looks of it) left both threads when some of the folks started getting rude. Oh well. I like to think that this forum is more mature and less idiotic than most. I just wish all of the members here could be respectful rather than just to avoid whole subjects because of what might jump in and ruin it.

We are 100% in agreement. Discussing issues isn't the problem, it's presentation and attitudes that need to improve.

I will say I am sorry for my role in regards to religious question thread. I am saying out of political threads and such from now on.

I have participated in those volatile threads with much enjoyment also, but after being called such names in this past effort I also will refrain from joining these posts.
