    Hey Tim,

    When the mobile site first went up, it was working great on my Verizon phone. But for the past month, month-and-a-half, or so, i've been having a problem w/ the mobile site.

    it loads up fine. I usually surf right to the GRM Discussion forum, pick a topic and read it, then when i hit "Back" i get an error screen on my phone saying "! Out Of Memory" and then the the phone goes through a shutdown/startup reboot process.

    This doesn't happen every time, but i can't ever get through more than 3 topics on the board before this happens.

    i've tried not hitting "Back", but clicking on the Forum link at the top of the thread to get back to the list of topics, but it will still happen.

    I've tried dumping memory, cache, history, and cookies and then visiting the site, and it still happens.

    I would say its a problem w/ my phone, but it only happens when i visit GRM. I can surf all of my other mssg boards and blogs and YouTube etc and i've never had this happen on those sites.

    any ideas?

    anyone else on Verizon have this problem?

    No idea. That's pretty weird. Does it do it if you go to the regular site?

    i played around on the non-mobile site on my phone last night, for 10min or so. Didn't have any shutdowns...

    Does the mobile site load any funny files to the cache or any weird cookies? Not that i really know what i'm talking about... Its probably just Verizons crappy Brew browser....

    No.. it should be loading LESS than the full site. Although it's possible there's a javascript error or something that's freaking it out.

    Can you load other browsers on it?

    Nope. Verizon suxxors. Everything is proprietary...

    The Voyager has had a software update in around Nov/Dec with updates to the browser..is yours older than that?

    yeah, i got that firmware update. but thanks for reminding me to check and see if there's any new updates...

    I didn't know there was a mobile site. You should probably upgrade to a blackberry!
