Is there a way that when you get a notification that there has been a post on a topic that the link can take you to the post it is notifying you about? Here at GRM It always takes me to the first page, first post where as most other boards (including the one I administrate) takes you to either the post that you are notified about or to the last post that was made since you were logged in to the board. Not a huge deal. In fact it is really a convenience. But it can be irritating when you have multiple pages or a thread that is very active and you have to sort out where to start reading.

I always feel guilty about commenting about any message board.

      1. They are free to me and what people don't know is there is a cost to keeping a board up and going (paid for by the provider of the board)

      2. There can be quite a lot of time involved in keeping a board up. This is a cost as well.

I will end this with a huge thanks to GRM for having this board. It is a great resource! No matter how frustrated I / We may get at times with things always remember #'s 1 & 2 above.

Ok what is with the font's? I don't even know how I got it to do that LOL. Is there an instruction manual on line for this software?

You indented, which tells it you want preformatted text.

    Google "markdown".

Unfortunately, I don't remember exactly how the watchlist function works, but it shouldn't be all that hard to make it go to last post. Actually, last post at update would probably be even easier.

I would so love that. I hate having to click on the post and then go to page 5, only to have to scroll down and try to find the last post that I read before replying or setting up a notification.
