    I was wondering why their is no "Redline Time Attack" coverage in any issues or on the website. I understand its not a huge sanctioned event with the likes of SCCA, NASA, etc. but the event showcases some of the fastest production based cars, if not THE fastest production based cars...

    It is still in its infant stages, started in 2005, but some of the larger companies and mainstream drivers are participating in the series. The series consist of 9 races spread throughout the nation aswell...

    A story on the series is in the works, and we actually took our MINI Cooper S project car out to the CMP round of the Redline Time Attack series. Had a lot of fun, and saw some pretty angry time attack cars. It's on the radar, as they say...

    That sounds great, I can't wait to see more Scion coverage. Has Magazine ever considered a Project Scion Tc for time attack.

    Step 1, convince Scion to give GRM a Tc...

    As long as it's not a 1.6 Miata being prepped for Time Attack. Based on the number of phone calls we get from other magazines looking for free parts ("can we haz turbo?"), it's the default budget magazine project build these days.
