By default, the search engine excludes the forum. But if I'm already in the forum and want to search, it's pretty likely that I want to search the forum.

I can only search the forum by searching twice: first, by searching for any old thing to get the Advanced Search box to appear alongside the results, and second, using that Advanced Search with the forum option checked.

This is a long-winded request to either have the Advanced Search option made available without having to conduct an initial search just to reach it (thereby making the user search twice for something), or, ideally, make the search feature contextual; that is, if I'm in the forum already, code the engine to search the forum. Or maybe make the Search button at the top of the page a drop-down to include all the search locations so that the user can select them at the initial search (or, at least, over-ride the default).

    Thanks...

Use Google, it's better and faster in my experience. Just make sure you use "grassroots motorsports" plus whatever else you're searching for.
