and about halfway through I had to stop and decide if I should keep reading or lumber over to the computer to log in and post how awesome GRM is. While I hesitate to say "Best Issue Ever" I swear the writing gets better and better with every issue.. which is not to say that it was ever NOT good, but damn this issue was just fun to read.

p.s. my issue was wrapped in plastic and didn't look like a dog had chewed on it.

I just got my April '10 copy and it made me want to revive this thread.

I've read it cover to cover already, and I am consistently amazed at how an already excellent magazine manages to get more and more interesting and, well, just plain awesome with each issue.

Can you really buy a ten-year subscription?

It is a good one, definitely. The "how to survive a fiery death" article was chilling. I'm going to start wearing my suit on track days, even if I do look like a poseur.

Does anyone else find it amusing to spell poseur the French way to add that extra je ne sais quoi?

I haven't seen the issue yet (I'll get it in about 8 weeks as my wife is hoarding the mags for me) but ever since I've started taking my plastic car on trackdays I've been wearing a suit at trackdays. I don't care if other people think I'm a poseur, it's my skin I'm trying to save.

There is another way to spell it?

I gotta pipe in here too. I got my issue a little later than normal, but holy hell was it worth the wait! The full-page pics and longer articles were really great. I especially liked the Thunderhill and Fire/Safety articles and layouts. Definitely one of the best issues ever. Top 3 at least.

    THANK YOU GRM!

I had to wait to get back from VIR (Where were Scott and Tom? Missed you guys). It was actually delivered the day I went to VIR, but I got to the track long before the mail was delivered. I'm having a wonderful time reading the magazine, and it is keeping me sane while I take a very compressed nursing course.

Oh, and the only ones that are poseurs for wearing race suits at track days are the guys in Ferraris that never get above the interstate speed limit, except for perhaps on one straight, and even then are not going faster than a stock 1.6 Miata.
