Yeah, the marina gas should be fine. It may not have as much emissions additives / taxes therefore "illegal" but as far as performance goes should be fine or better than "standard" pump gas.

Turbo? E85 is great with big boost. You just use alot.

As for taxes, if this is a track only car it shouldn't be an issue, but that would be common sence.

Someone insisted on putting 5 gal. gas drained from a boat in their vehicle (which was almost full). After using fuel injector cleaner and running 30 min last night, the truck won't fire today. Any suggestions?.

I would start with "dry gas" or some other brand of alcohol to soak up any water, probably do a new fuel filter also.

I miss the smell of leaded race fuel out the tailpipe. Always wanted to make that into a cologne. Instead of "Chanel No 5", how about "Leaded Gas 110". The only other smell better is the burnout box at the dragstrip (burnt rubber) especially combined with the lead gas.

I recall a LONG time ago AVGas being used. Never used it myself. Was a lo lead higher octane alternative, burned a little hotter if I recall?

Never heard of Marine Gas having a higher octane.

Methanol injection has my current curoisity. Upfront cost is high but washer fluid is cheap.

I used to use AvGas routinely in my dirt bike. That stuff was the E36 M3! It never fouled a single plug, started easy and seemed to help low rpm throttle responce. Of course two stroke engines don't have O2 sensors or cats so that little experience is of slight value I guess.
