my neighbor wanted me to change the alternator in their car, but I couldnt get the wires disconnected from the alternator, does anyone know how? I have changed many alternators, but for some reason this one I cant figure it out at all.

Square plug? It's a beyotch..... I know how and they still suck. THere should be one tab on the side facing the engine if it's the square style. You'll have to really push it deep and have strength to get it loose.

Yeah, it has a plug at the top, then a wire on a stud below that, then some other plastic stuff below that i couldnt really see very well. I have really weak fingers so I think I may just pass on doing it. lol

The post is a 10mm nut, there shouldn't be anything else.
