    That's my guess at this point. Hard to truly diagnose something like that over the internet.

    Cross post on mx6.com and see what they say.

    you're supposed to ground the test lead, and set at 10* iirc, if you don't ground the lead, it will be adjusting and be all over the place

    The Aussie on mx6.com might be on to something man....

    But seriously... remove that BTM... it's not helping anything. I don't even know why the PO put that thing on there, there's absolutely no reason to put one of those on a factory turbo car. By the time you need it, you won't be running a stock ECU anyways.

    I dont either really... ill take it off and leave the Blaster 2 coil. Another thing I discovered is he installed a 4 wire 02 sensor off a 98 Honda Civic... could that be attributed to my , as the original was a 1 wire...? I drove it to Columbus, Ohio and averaged 27 mpg yesterday.

    The o2 sensor could definitely be causing your problems depending on how it was wired.

    Would be worth swapping out to a stock style, for sure.
