Pft, whatever Mr. Mom, we should compare how many times each of us have rolled a race car

Only time i rolled a car was when i was going 30 mph in a straight line and had a mechanical issue in a neighborhood. Luckily it was a cj-7 with a rollbar or i might already be dead. Luckily i tore off the fire hydrant and the tree trunk with the other side of the jeep, too.

I haven't even spun a car since I was 16. Does that make me a failure?

No, but not having 450 lb ft of snap oversteer might have something to do with it.

Pretty tough to match a third generation MR2 for enjoyment and involvement.

I would imagine youre right...the funnest ride I ever took in a car was a supercharged Fiero...I would Imagine a SC Mr. Two would probably equal that excitement in many ways. Both of those cars are on my "If I ever have the opportunity and money at the same time" list.

But I also agree that pretty much any car can be shool-boy-giggling fun if you have the right circumstances...i.e. a track, or an open winding backwoods road. I have S-10 aspirations that I think will make for a pee dripper if I can do to it what I really want to...

I agree, I would have thought buying (and modding) an e36 would have been the most fun car to drive I've owned. My country squire is still the most fun. And I still kinda miss my one 88hp mustang coupe. Painfully slow, crummy handling. Great fun though.

My first car was an 86 Notchback 4-cyl - 4spd. miss it horribly.

The first stang I drove was an 81 notch t-top 2.3 auto...pretty car. My favorite was the 87 notch, medium cabernet, 5 speed. I put a GT interior and suspension under it, an 84 GT rear with 4.10's, a trak-loc, and koni quad shocks (konis found in trunk of a torino in a junkyard). Had a pro 5.0 shifter (payment for a trans swap in a turbocoupe) opalescent white pony wheels. Header, 5.0 airbox and modified ranger inlet tube. Was a beast for the first 2 gears-but would run a 17.88 1.4 mile with a 2.10 60' Also put a drivers side LX 5.0 tailpipe, for more of the faux 5.0 look. All that and 35mpg... And then a deer ended it.
