Guys,

We have couple of new VIPs attending the Kumho $2011 Challenge this year... Jason Cammisa of Automobile magazine will be bringing a very high end, new, performance car, in an effort to best our fastest Challenge cars for a story on the event. He will also be one of our concours judges. And if you are wondering if this guy will get what we do, I assure you I know this guy and he does. He drives an E30 BMW wagon, as his daily driver.

The editor of the Performance Racing Industry trade magazine will also be in attendance. He loves what we do at GRM and wanted to check out our low buck event. He will also help with judging and be part of the festivities.

We are also thrilled to have CRC Industries as a sponsor again and they are sending goodies for entrants. We will also be doing some videos for them during the weekend, featuring Challenge competitors, that they plan on using at the SEMA show and other high profile places.

I can't wait to see what Jason Cammisa brings. I have "a feeling" it will provide an excellent counterpoint to the Challenge entries...

This should be a great year. Hope the weather holds.

Was hoping to have my rat Shelby there for fun and some drag strip runs as well, but probably still a few more weeks away. 363 CI Stroker motor went in yesterday. This damned shoulder has slowed me down a bunch, but not all the way.

This is great news. Any idea what the cost will be to competitors? I haven't mounted my drag tires yet and would welcome having it done on Friday.

Also great news about the VIPs. Very cool that you guys are getting the much deserved exposure.

Cool! Got my reservations, sent the check and if everything works out o.k. my new challenge car will be ready by Tuesday. (Finally).
