I rode one of those motor-coolers all around state dock at lake Cumberland last year. They boogy pretty good even with my 250lb drunken behind at the helm. They don't turn well at top speed though...

Saw a guy at a drag race several years ago riding a bar stool. Had a 6hp Honda on it with the smallest turbocharger I have ever seen. Claimed it would run over 60mph. Very cool looking, but I wouldn't want to ride it for long. Death on wheels.

To quote a friend of mine after seeing the 5hp barstool my father built.
"Damn I have enough trouble riding a regular barstool at 2AM!"
Those things are lethal. a 24" wheel base, a very high center of gravity and too many HP equals alot of broken tailbones.
For some reason a dozen guys in my fathers hot rod club decided to build them. between the 12 barstools they broke at least 30 tailbones. The really heavy (300+ pound guys) where the only ones who never got tossed. A few people were hospitalized after bouncing thier skulls on the asphalt.
Every one was sold off within a year.

This guy is near here in Newark Ohio ( pro-nounced NERK ) He now claims on loal TV news that he drank the 15 beers, AFTER he crashed the bar stool.
