    I still want a loaded regular cab short box with a 6spd (and a decent feeling gear change, not the usual truck stick in a box of lameness) and a Cummins. The new 6.4 would be fine, as well.

    You could buy a regular cab, 2x4, 5.7L Tundra for about that price a year or two ago--much less when you factored in incentives.

    In 2008, I bought a new 4x4, 5.7L, double-cab for $25.4K OTD. A regular cab 2x4 was thousands cheaper.
