I know another "what car thread'. But I though I would try this once more. Work kept me from searching very hard the last few times. Every time I am on here, it seems that you all have much better luck on Craigslist, that i could every dream of. So her it goes...
The title spells out the basics, but here are the criteria:
- $3k price point, give or take some
- Nor Cal Craigslist, but preferably Sacramento area, unless it is an amazing deal
- Good on gas, preferably high 20's or better. I would be willing to make some concessions in the name of performance if its the right car.
- 70 mile round trip commute 5 days a week on I-80 and I-5(Sacramento to Dixon, and back). So durability/maintenance and comfort are important.
- Prefer a manual transmission
- Sporty. I would like to be able to do a few autocross weekends with the car at some point, and maybe a track day or two.
- I am 6'-4", so height is a consideration.
