FWIW... I had a 98 Maxima with the 190 hp, and let me say it felt FAST. Of course, this was coming out of a 130hp four banger.
Well if it had a 5 spd it was a decently quick car. Stock 4th gen 5spds have cracked 14.9X iirc. Low 15s is a safe bet. However, the 4th gen auto doesnt have nearly the same appeal. Ive spent a lot of time with two of those and they really didnt light my fire. Keep in mind my daily driver was a dodge dynasty at this point..
... which was about as quick.
