If gas prices stayed the same, it would cost me ~$30,700 just in fuel to reach 400k.
I was thinking about this the other day in regards to my Dakota. Thing is, unless you stop driving cars, you're spending that money one way or another.

True. But I can minimize how much I drive. I wouldn't mind biking to work or carpooling.
