So about two weeks ago I got my Jetta back on the road. Put a 2.0 ABA bottom end under the stock 1.8 head and kept the Digifant 2 management. It's been running awesome but today it died.

It fired, then died and wouldn't re-start. It's flooding something fierce, and has spark (at least with the fuel pump unplugged - bear with me, I'll get to that later).
If I unplug the fuel pump fuse, and crank it till it dries out a bit, it fires and will run until the pressure's gone from the lines. As soon as and I mean IMMEDIATELY when I plug in the fuel pump fuse, it dies. Like a sudden ignition cut, not fuel drowning, it feels like I'm turning off the key. Weird...

When I checked for spark, I had the fuel pump fuse OUT of course. I'll try it later with the fuse in, but here's my question, finally: Is there a relay or something that would cause this? Fuel pump relay for example with a short or something? Opinions? Thoughts?

I know some of you won't believe this, but I've been driving VW's since I was 17 (18 years ago) and this is the FIRST time I've been left sitting. Ever.
