Link to the complete build thread. 36 pages long.

A good read, lots of interesting information, but sadly not a challenge car.

Yeah, he and I exchanged a lot of e-mails during our builds. He with his Integra, me with my mid-engine Mini. He did a nice job.

He's a member here and posts, although rarely. I don't know if he made it to the new board when we switched.

I looked it up, he did make the switch. Then posted twice, haha. He's under the same user name, dfddfd2.

He even won our Rolex VIP contest a couple years back. Nice guy. Spent most of the weekend getting his hands dirty with the Nonnamaker team. I was jealous.

I remember seeing that. It was cool to see the guy still around and active in motorsports. I don't know him personally, but I followed his build thread on team-integra.net years ago when that model was my automotive obsession du-jour. (still have one - love it - not mid-engine though. lol)

All that work and he only has one engine? Weird! Seriously, that's a hell of a lot of work to build a second gen MR2 with Honda parts, he must REALLY like the Integra!

If only the engine was left in the front in addition to the mid engine...

I know he was on here, but I didn't know if anyone had read the build thread. Its a long thread, but has lots of great stuff in it.

Very very nice work. I do agree that there should have been an escalation in the car's ability, purpose and wow-factor.

Leaving the front engine in would have push over the WOW+Cool+Plus+Holy smokes factor

Using a NSX engine would have done the same thing, but I have to repeat: That was a great build

There are a huge number of photos missing from the thread. Looks like photo buckett took a dump.
