First time out of the neighborhood in 6 years, and my first time performing in any sort of performance driving event. Major understeer - responsible for me killing a cone on my third run (and killing my best time). Will tweak suspension, lowering the nose and stiffening the rear by replacing the rear swaybar with a thicker one and adjusting the Konis to the max stiff setting. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Seat time. Don't adjust anything. Attend maximum number events possible. After that, more seat time.

Interesting replacement for that heavy rear hatch glass. Sounded great too.

In reply to Matt B: Tried the one from GTRacing and didn't like it. This hatch is from IFC Racing (allporscheracing.com). Extremely lightweight and looks great! Thanks for the kudos on the exhaust note - homemade 3" exhaust to Magnaflow muffler

Hey skywalker I was at the same event as you. I had the blue Mazda. I took some pictures that day and I got a couple of your car. I can out them up if you like.

In reply to a401cj: Unfortunately the quality reflects the pay that the cameraman received - my son was going through XBOX withdrawl, hence the shaky picture :) Will have something better next time. Thanks for not thinking the generator noise in the background was my car :)

In reply to huggybear626: Ah! I know who you are now! Thanks for taking the photos, the one shot at the top of the figure eight was sweet - much better than what my son did! You going to be at the 13 August event?? I will if my parts make it in on time!!

In reply to huggybear626:
Yeah - came in 27th overall. Not bad for my very first shot at this!
Looks like I came in first in Novice, 2nd out of all the 944s, first out of modified class (was the only one). I am really looking forward to the next event (providing parts come in) -

In reply to huggybear626: Yeah - I live in Laurel, right off 295 and 198 behind the Target. There's a guy in Rockville performing a conversion on his 944 as well - he's planning on being at the next event too (well at least he is, the car is still under construction).
