This is not my car, but someone wants to pay me to fix it for them. The battery seems to be charged, but when you turn the key nothing happens.

the battery has abut 12.7 volts when checked with a volt meter, same at the starter. When you turn the key, the switch wire on the solenoid gets about 3 volts and will click on and off but the starter doesnt turn.

I checked the clutch pedal switch also and it seems to work. I tried push starting it but that didnt seem to work either. Im thinking bad starter?

Could be a bad battery. Does the voltage on the battery drop significantly when you try to start it?

sounds right, check the juice at the starter before pulling it.
