....just picked up "The World's Worst Cars" by Craig Cheetham at the local book store for ten bucks in the bargain bin. Lists a lot of lemons and a few cars that I never really thought were all that bad. Lists 150 cars. Definately a fun book.

I like all of the writers at GRM, and really most auto writers period. This guy literally makes a living with these stupid "worst" books, and it's all the same old tired rhetoric.
Examples of car racism: "Ford Pinto, don't rear-end it!; AMC Gremlin, it's ugly!; Yugo, it's a Yugo!; FIAT, fix it again Tony!!! Harharhar I'm so insightful!"

The "facts" on many of the American models included in the book, are inaccurate, poorly researched and seem to be based on stereotypes and hearsay more than anything else. When an author's research is so poor that he cannot properly identify model year spans and engine displacements, one questions how accurate any of his research can be. His inclusion of some models in the book and excluding others leaves one scratching their head.
