A thread about my dad. A true GRMer.

My great uncle was born in 1937, IIRC. He drag raced Desotos and Chevys, ran the shop at Gateway Chevy in Jefferson Park. Wonder if he ever crossed paths with your dad.

My uncle was (is) probably the only drag racer in Chicago who had Polio.

Man, only stone cold badasses drove those sleds at the strip. Your dad is one of them.
