    Advance Auto is having a sale through the 24th of Nov- $25-$75: 5% $75-$150: 10% $150+: 20% Free shipping over $75

I was looking at their 118 piece Gearwrench set which is a good deal at $153, but with 20% off, a great deal. Pick up in store or free shipping.

Not affiliated, just thought I'd pass it on.

Unless they have a retail presence in your state. Then, they legally have to collect sales tax (at least in VA).

Why wouldn't you get hit with sales tax if shipped? Autozone still has a retail presence in your state, so wouldn't they charge tax online?

That is pretty much everywhere. I know when I goto checkout on some sites, I see KY sales tax being added to the final price.

They should be offering discounts, considering how wildly high they have been jacking their prices in the past year or so.

That is how they are getting from 5-6 BILLION in sales to 12 BILLION in about 6-7 years.

Also, bad economies help auto parts suppliers. Was on the plane with a pick n pull regional manger- said times are great for them. Was a little sheepish about it, but said in good economic times, it is tough for them. I don't begrudge them at all.
