I was wondering if anyone knows any race car trailering services. I would like to participate in the Mitty with my Datsun 510, but because of my schedule I will not be able to trailer my car there. Does anyone know of a service that will trailer a car and back. The car is located in Royal Oak, MI.

    Thanks!

First of all, welcome to the board! Good to hear you are planning on attending the Mitty.

There are several transport services that may be able to help you. Here's just a few:

Good luck! Hope to see you at Road Atlanta!

510s are small cars. Check it as a piece of luggage.

There is also this link, but I'm not sure how dated the information is:

i'll second intercitylines, might be expensive (never priced them myself though) but they transport nearly priceless vehicles all the time.

Thanks for the comments. I appreciate the quick feedback

You can see my cars at www.detroitdatsun.com just click around.

I know of the van lines. I've used Reliable Carriers before. They are EXCELLENT!

I'm thinking more of someone with a truck that's already heading down that is willing to tow my trailer and equipment.

These carriers will only take a car, but for a race car I have tons of spares and equipment to accompany me for a race.

    Thanks! Shant

That might be a good way to get down here, but what if the truck is heading to Florida after? How would you get home?
