What brand/type of car will NEVER be hot rodded or raced?
It seems that just about anything goes... So what doesn't go?

crickets
Errr... we race EVERYTHING!
a race is a race...some are just at a different pace
If it can go forward it will be raced by someone
If it's hideous, terrible, cheap, and strange, chances are that someone is here.
If it has a motor I will race it.
My neighbor and I were having lawn mower races last week in my back yard. Our wives think we are nuts. But it is alot of fun!!!!

nobody here will ever race their Enzo into the Atlantic, I can say that with some amount of confidence.....
Mercedes 600, at least beyond a just for fun dragstrip pass.
Mercedes 240d. Slowest. Car. EvAr.

I had a '77, with the 4-speed stick. I took it to the "run what ya brung", dial-in night at US-131 Dragway.
I dialed in a 30 second quarter. The official looked at me funny.
I ran a 30.750... and lost.
I can't imagine the circumstances that would inspire me to race my 62 Thunderbird. Although sadly, at 4,293 pounds, it's not too much heavier than a new Camaro or Challenger, and people race those.

I can picture that in my mind. Complete with the black smoke trail behind it.
Dude, I have raced tractors, boats, pretty much you name it. If it moves, race it.
The Popemobiles?
Smart cars!
Non-running ones??
I'd rock a SmartCar.

Ok, so it's been raced...
What else?
I've got a lot of E36 M3 in my back yard that will never be raced.
You are wrong about the Smart Cars.

Are you sure?
I actually think the answer here is a Prius. Yes people have brought them to the drag strip, but I don't think they will ever truly be raced.
The 240d is a w123, and those have been raced/rallied quite a bit. The Prius chassis, no.

Dude showed up at the Calgary chumpcar race with an SVO swapped windstar. It was fairly speedy, for the short periods of time it wasn't getting engines swapped.

Looks like the Prius has been done too:
