I bumped my thread about buying the car here - http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/off-topic-discussion/new-car-buying-advice-... - but I still wanted to show off just a little bit ;)

Camaro project will still continue, so no worries there. In the meantime we'll run this thing in DS.

    Nice.

Keep it under 4k RPM until 1,000mi, and then enjoy it. I really like the new 17x8's they put on the '11 WRX too.

White with black grille is sharp as hell. Nice buy!

Get it tuned. It improves the car 10 fold.

No can do in DS, so I'm stuck with what I've got. Still a ton of fun, and I haven't even floored it or revved it over 4k.

Can't wait to see it on saturday! (I assume you will be racking on the miles)

BTW, be ready to enjoy the magazine that subaru sends to people who buy a new car from them (IIRC its called "Drive" or something like that) has some fun tidbits from motorsports in it, but mostly ads for upcoming new subarus. (we still get it from when mom purchased hers in '04)

How long till you have the air filter and catback ordered?

I test drove a new Sentra Spec V + Civic Si this past Saturday and went to 6000rpm. The salesman didn't say to keep the revs low..........

I will have it up on Saturday... you coming to the show?

Sway bar and air filter are on the way. Wheels/tires/konis will wait until after the wedding.

There are mixed opinions all over the place on this subject. The owners manual says no over 4K for the first 1000 miles, so I'll adhere to that, but I hit 100 miles on my way home from band practice and may have boosted it in second gear once or twice...
