    Hey, so im new to grm. Been autocrossing and kart racing at local facilities with my brother for a while and now im looking to build a kart (or something similar like formula vee) and start racing compettively. anyone know of any starter series, information, or anything that can be of use???

    Don't build, buy used and get seat time. The long term needs will become self evident after you spend a bit of time with your new peer group.

    There's not much similar between karting and Formula Vee. Don't even try to build your own. Lots of engineering and experience go into each manufactured kart frame or race car chassis. First thing to do is find a place to race at and see what the situation is. If your close to a race, Endurance Karting is a great way to get started. http://endurancekarting.com/
