I have a yearning for a cute ute. Not for me but for Mrs. Mofo.

    I REALLY like this:

    We will never see one.

    Boo VW... just boo.

Looks like a slightly larger SX4.

slightly totally not as fugly as an SX4. god, but Suzuki penned a stinker right there, and it's not that cheap either.

this was what I wanted a few years ago, don't know if it ever made it into production.

They are dead to me after denying us this:

I am noticing a trend where I am completely obsessed with the reverse trike.

    In reply to nutherjrfan:

You're calling the SX4 a stinker visually, and then you puke that thing up?

Eye of the beholder and all that but I don't think anyone would agree with you there.

What's wrong with the SX4? I like it, in manual version anyway. The CVT sucks.

How big of a difference is thier in comparison to a US market Tiguan?

Um, WHY? This is everything craptastic about the US automotive market, except VW and not offered here.

If you're gonna pitch a fit, pitch one about the almosts, like the 3-door Fiesta... or diesel 3-door Fiesta.

Actually I got to plop my ass into a Fiesta recently, not to drive but I sat in it. I can't do it. It's a lovely car but I have a 52" chest and I simply do not fit well.

When comparing this to a Tiguan remember the Tiguan is a B6 Passat where the Polo is MKIII Jetta in size.

maybe it's time to work on that.

There's a marathon in Detroit in 18 weeks.

If you want that, just close your eyes and pick virtually any Ute and you'll have virtually the same thing. I fail to see how this one is any better or any different than the 101 other ones we do have available here.

The chest won't be going the way the waistline has. 38lbs and 4" already.
