Time for a fuel filter. Does it need to do anything more than match the fuel lines? Or do I have to match it to the engine, and fuel management? We are running a Miata 1.6.

Nope , just don't mix up a fuel filter for carbs with a fuel filter for FI.

Get a GM one with a test port , that way you can use a screw in Fuel pressure gauge... (I have the gauge, you can hasz)

Do you have a part # or model it came from? I would like to do this same thing with the FP gauge.
