I dunno why I didnt think to ask before, but does anyone live down south and want to give me a hand with prepping some home made ITBs? I've had these sitting on my desk for 2 years now and I've just lacked the time and motivation to work on them (grad school followed immediately by 55+hr work weeks).

I have the following pieces for my application:

    • ITBs from a sportbike
    • Velocity stacks
    • Plenum (had to use a plenum since my car uses MAF)
    • Spare TPS and IACV

    What I need:

    • A dremel tool that has more juice than my cordless
    • Help figuring out how to adapt my TPS and IACV to work with this application.
    • vacuum block/accumulator
    • Intake manifold gasket
    • motivation and a driveway to work in (i live in apartments where they dont allow "mechanical" work)

Regardless of the help on the project, I would be interested to see how many members live in south Florida like myself.

Need something stronger than a Dremel?

If you don't have access to a compressor and an air powered grinder, this is the next best thing:

I just wish it had a speed control since it will spin damned fast! I think you could get a controller for a 120v router and use that, I might try that.

Use a piece of construction paper/cardboard/manila folder to make a template to adapt a TPS sensor to the bike TB's. Then take that to someone with a lathe/mill and have them build it. You could even use a company like e-machineshop.com and do it all online.

Vaccuum blocks are easy to come by.

Obviously the intake gasket you'll need to get from the local parts house or http://www.RockAuto.com

Adapting the TPS could probably be done in a kitchen or someplace where you can sit with the parts and cut out some pieces of paper to get what you need.

Wish I were closer to help more!
