Well, I ended up taking him and it was fantastic to watch. My son got his Ferrari hat signed (although we both talked about getting a Mercedes hat, instead!).

That's awesome, wonder why he was there? I heard that Schumi comes to the states to ride his bike too because nobody knows who the heck he is. Anywhere else and he is mobbed everywhere.

He works with Tony Kart Italy in testing chassis and (from what I understood) they hired him to be one of the drivers at the Nationals. The turnout to watch was MUCH bigger than it has been in years, so they did something right.
