I need 4 R-comps ( RA-1, R-888, 214 C51s, etc... ) in pretty good shape - budgets running out... and well, tires aren't really optional... but new ones are. Anybody?

Optional yes, but with a slight stretch you'll get much more life out of some new NT-01's delivered for $140 each from DTD. My personal experience with used R's is they're not worth the expense of mounting for the limited life left in them.

i get my tires from a guy in Milford MI -- it's local to me -- and he always cuts me a sweet deal. hoosier A6 or R6, 225/45-15. might not be worth the money to ship, depends what you find locally. i can pretty much guarantee you can get a set of four for around $150 shipped. do you want me to call him?

Angry... if he has R6s that are worth mounting that is a fantastic deal. If he has something with 5 or more days left I'd be much obliged.
