I'm looking for local-ish places to farm out some work for an engine rebuild for the miata. I need to get the block bored and decked, and the head decked, and have the tested and if necessary a little refresh work done on it. I've contacted OPM so far, as I know they have experience with Miatas through the standard Spec Miazda cars, but I'm wondering if anyone's had any experience with them. I've been waiting for a quote from them 'within the hour' since about 2:00pm yesterday. I gave them a call and got another 'within the hour' answer. I'm just starting to get a little concerned that the work I'm having done will also be done 'within the week' if you know what I mean. If anyone has any direct experience with them, I'd really appreciate any words of reassurance or, if I need to turn and run, go ahead and let me know.
