Got this junk email this morning from Zamp Racing, having a sale on helmets. Was wondering if anyone here has any info on these guys or their helmets? My old Simpson Voyager is waaaaay out of date (Snell 95
) and is now a show piece and am needing a new one for when i start autox'ing my jetta.. Thanks guys!!

I've got one... Nothing wrong with it. Not the most comfortable thing in the world, but I'm only wearing it two minutes at a time. I think the comfort thing has more to do with it being whatever Snell rating it is than it being a Zamp.
I really don't know anything about it other than it was the cheapest one out there at the time.

I got one from a drunk guy at a bar once. He had ridden a motorcycle there, and got totally wasted. I got to talking about bikes with him and ended up giving him a ride home. He gave me his helmet as payment. That was a weird night.

I have one, it fits nicer than my RCI. Every time I don't crash it seems like it would have protected me.

Your helmet has been designed to absorb energy by destroying the shell or liner upon receiving a severe impact. If your helmet needs to be replaced within 2 years of purchase date due to an accident, please follow this procedure:
Contact Zamp Sports Corp. at 916-861-0066 to request a return Authorization Number for accident replacement. You will need to put this number on the box upon approval.
We will replace it with the same size and style helmet if it is current. If it is not current, you will need to pick a new helmet to replace it with.
You will need to return the helmet with the return authorization number. In addition, you will need to include payment for the new helmet. It will be sold at 50% off of Retail & Shipping and Handling.
Upon receiving helmet, Zamp Sports Corp. will place new order for helmet and destroy your old helmet.
