You should love the Farmington lot - it's huge, and it slopes, so there is elevation change with some off-camber corners possilble. The couple of divisionals I have run there had good courses, pretty quick. If it rains, the slope helps drain the area, but one time we did have really wet conditions - but that is unusual. A great site and friendly people, it should be a good time. I still haven't decided whether I'm going, as I have to rebuild the suspension in my MR2, which if I do show up will be the dark grey slow STS2 car or slow SP car, depending on which tires I bring.
I used to run in Phoenix back in the early '70s when I lived in Flagstaff. Back then an SCCA autocross consisted of the PIR infield and half the oval, with maybe a dozen cones set up to show you the line through the corners. One time Don Roberts was setting up a customer's Cobra Daytona Coupe (a real one) on the back straight, and on a whim entered the event. He took FTD, but only after looping it into the desert once, just missing a saguaro! I don't think any Daytona owners would authorize that today!
You'll have fun in Farmington.
