I've got one sitting out by itself, ready to go into my '63 Comet. They are actually quite small in comparison to even a Chevy V8, whereas my BMW DOHC V8 is MUCH wider, like most DOHC V8s are. The Lexus unit is actually only an inch wider than the pushrod small block Ford V8, which is one of the most compact V8s on the market.

Your Comet swap sounds totally awesome. Are you going to use the original fuel injection and everything?
