At my local Panera. I am sure in Miami or LA this is a pretty common sight, but in my neighborhood, it stands out like a spaceship. Man I want one.

You should have parked your car really close to him on the driver's side. That's what I do when I see an exotic parked out in the far open end of the lot.....
ok, not really. But I always think I want to.
That's a nice color, too.
I saw one a month or so ago parked in my neighborhood. Which is the south side of the Ohio State campus, not the most likely place for a car like that. Same color too.
There's one of those that comes through TWS PDSs on occasion. I parked next to him in Truckstiva once.
They're fairly uncommon here in DC, where I've seen 3 Aston-Martins at the same intersection at one time and 1/2 dozen Italian exotics drive by my house in an afternoon of outdoor wrenching.
Last one I saw had the big side-scoop-panel-cladding things in carbon feebray which did not enhance anything I could see.
There's a nice video on the Youtube of a dude caroming of a tire wall @ VIR in one. Evidently they spin like everything else when you lift in 10....
I still don't like the R8.
I've seen pics and I've seen 'em in person and in person they look nicer than the pics. They have a "presence" about them in person.
I know they aren't the fastest thing around, but I'd take one in a heart beat if I could afford it.

I say that about most cars....
yeah, theres one I always see here just north of cincinnati - guy drives like a douche. Nice car, sh_tty driver. Theres also a few Bentleys, murcielagos, some vintage Ferraris etc, but the way half the asshats drive makes me say meh when i see one. Honestly Id rather have a super clean 3 series, 2011 Regal GS, WRX or some other fun sedan over a bazillion dollar zomgrocket
hate to admi it, but the R8 is pretty cool. I like'm in black or red. The silver / gray is too blah for me. It's a supercar, why hide?
I saw one during lunch outing in Green Bay. One of my coworkers said "...Must be a Packer..." We shrugged.

I have also seen a GTR wandering around china town, just the one R8 though.. up in PA (main line) I have seen one or two
I guy in my neighborhood has one, same color(s.) I haven't wrangled a ride yet. It's surprisingly loud! Really striking to see one in the real world.
I like the "Godfather" spoof commercial from the Stupid Bowl a couple of years ago.
I like them, I see a fair number around here. They may not be the fastest thing on 4 wheels, but to me they are an attractive alternative to yet another 911. An Aston is even better.

They don't have color in Germany.
I have seen 2, one driving around just before Christmas here in Ohio. They are OK but for the money I would buy something else (not that I will ever have to make that kind of decision) like a Vantage or a 911.
On a side note, I heard then saw a GTR yesterday in downtown Columbus. Souded very good but I still have not warmed up to them at all.
I think i may have seen the V10 version here a week ago. I've seen quite a few "normal" R8s, but this one just sounded completely different. It excited me.
My wife saw an R8 in town here not long ago - first one I've heard of locally. I was proud because she recognized it and was excited enough to text me about it. They're one of my favorite supercars right now.
I'm keeping an eye on the used ones - 8cyl are starting to go under 100k, v10s are still a lot more. I'd prefer to have the v10, of course, but it will take a lottery hit to drive either.
I saw the R8 V12 TDI concept car at Sebring a few years ago. It is absolutely amazing looking! I love the R8.
