went sunday to Autobahn road race track in Joliet Ill. surprised by such a big course, 3.56 mile,although they were using the small part of track, around 1.75mile. nice assortment of cars lot of spec miatas, and nasa types. legends,, bandoliers, and stockers, some classes i never even heard of. also a Kart track, big paddock areas, any way lot of fun,, weather perfect, mid 70s next week a 1st for runnin Mazda Atlantic series, and IRL cars.
seems as tho some well heeled investors bought the facility, and intend to make a serious race venue for the future, by the look of the money being spent on the place. its located close to Chicagoland speedway, and route 66 raceway!
