Just wondering if there are any autocrossed going on around the Baltimore area. I ran a couple events at Ripken Stadium last year nut I just wanted to have a few fun runs before the end of the year or before I get married (Oct 3 D-Day). Anything will quench my thirst for cones.

You ran at Ripken Stadium last year? I thought they put an end to our fun there years ago! I want to go!

Travel a bit up North and play with the Susquehanna guys. Or the Philly region who used to run a lot of events at Ripken. They also run other events near-by.

Go to www.myautoevents.com as well. They have a nice listing of auto-x events.

Yeah I ran there twice last year and twice in 2007. It scratched an itch that i have had for a long time. I was planning to do more events this year and travel to further sites but I decided to get married and all my money went into the "forever fund. " Maybe I will make some moves for next year and run further north for some events

    Nothing right in Baltimore.

The BMW club runs a few events in Sykesville, MD http://www.nccbmwcca.org/index.php?option=com_eventlist&view=categoryevents&am...

Autocrossers Inc runs in Waldorf, MD or at Fedex Field near DC. http://www.autocrossersinc.org/

DC SCCA runs at Fedex Field near DC.

Who was still running there last year? Every club I run with was told no more autoracing at the end of 07.

Susquehanna Region is thinking of doing 8-12 runs this weekend at the Farm Show due to the low turn out (CPR is hosting the CKC (cone killer classic) the same weekend as us. DOH!.

Sorry to bring up an old thread even though I started it but I have found out that some BMW and Porsche clubes run in the greater Baltimore area now. I think next year is goin to be a whole lotta fun. Does anyone know of any rallycross event going in the same area? I might turn my 626 into an auto/rallycross fun machine

For rallyX you can head out to summit point, WV for the DC SCCA events. I am not sure if anybody else runs rallyx events in the area still.
