What does your club charge for an autox event? Currently we (SCCA - Des Moines Valley Region) charge $20 for members and $30 for non-members. Insurance and site costs are rising. The larger and more desirable sites are more expensive and draw more drivers, but at what cost do you start to lose participants?

we (National Road Autosport, cumberland md) are at $35 per day across the board (independent club) the price kinda hurts, but its in my backyard, so id pay in gas to go elsewhere.
i kinda stopped going to the $20 a person picnic as well... (well i still go on occasion) ( id rather it was a few bucks with burgers and hotdogs then catered and that expensive, i know i would go more often)
sat, sun, and sat picnic $90 autocross weekend is getting steep

We charge $35. Pretty much have to, really, given the cost of the lot we use. But at the last event, everyone who showed up got 15 runs. It's interesting to note that our insurance costs haven't gone up in three years.
The local Corvette club has raised their price from $20 to $35 - and they get their lot for free. Hmm.

Oregon Region SCCA - $25 member, plus $15 for the "temporary weekend membership" if you're a non-member. 4 "events" in one weekend (so $100 to do all 4). 5 runs per event (we got 6 ONCE), sub 1-minute courses. Same course on both Saturday events and same course on both Sunday events. Fun runs were available for $3/each on Sunday.

This is for the season ender SCCA event this next weekend ( 10-19-2008) in the Detroit region.
Entry Fees: SCCA member $35 Non Members $50 (select regular entry - $15 weekend membership fee will be added automatically) Jr Kart SCCA members $20 Jr Kart non members $35 (select Jr kart entry - $15 weekend membership fee will be added automatically)
Seems like it's getting a little pricey especially when both me and my son run. I could join the SCCA to get a bit of a discount but I am already a member of two other clubs in the area.

Suncoast PCA (Tampa) is $20 for members, and it includes lunch brought to the site by Suncoast Porsche. The site is very inexpensive though. SCCA Brooksville cost me $45 the last time I went as a non-member, and I had to get my own lunch. I don't see myself going to another one of those.

My club, Virginia Motor Sport Club, just outside of Richmond VA charges $25 for members and $30 for non-members. Site rental and insurance caused this to rise last year from $20/$25. We get at least 4 runs and I've seen as many as 7 depending on course length and number of entrants.
Since we're not SCCA or NASA affiliated we don't discount give discounts for those memberships.

CDC is between $25 & $35 depending. The Benz club is $25 for members & $30 for non members you have to join the club after the second time though. Skipper if you think it's pricey to go to Cumberland solo, take your significant other & pick up the full tab. Cheers

It's a shame how site prices are going up. What, did their mortgage payment go up? I didn't think so. It's not like the rest of us are getting paid any higher...

All of the sites around here have fresh pavement, and they're all worried we're going to tear it up. Never mind that we have a club member who's the chief estimator and project manager for the biggest paving company in town who can give an expert opinion. Heck, she's the one who was in charge of paving the best ones! It's so much easier to say no than to say yes. So we have to run at a ski resort, thus the high site fees. They haven't changed in the past three years though...

Depending on the club, fees range from $25-$35 dollars around here. This includes 6-8 runs plus lunch (usually pizza). Fun runs are usually free as long as you help to pick up cones at the end of the event.

Depends on the event. $20 member/25 non member at a lot we have more or less free access too. $30/$35 at a lot we have to pay a site fee for every event.
People will pay more for a better site, but I think $40 is about the max people will go for.
