Well, OK, not really.
Who says you need a truck to haul stuff?

That is one cool looking tiny white box. Doesn't look much like a Miata though.
I once had a second engine in my Miata's trunk.
OK, so it's a 1 cylinder 650cc from a Suzuki Savage.
this only the trailer for what is to come?
What do you guys use for a hitch? I am thinking of adding one to my saab for light duty use
I'm not sure what i'll be doing with the second powertrain other than backup for now. I did borrow Corky Bell's book from a friend though

I bought the hitch used. Not sure what brand. It's Miata specific though. Trailer is a Harbor Freight trailer with the axle flipped on the springs to make it more level with the low car.
I like the power-to-weght ratio of the vehicle behind the Miata. What are your plans for seating and steering?

Seating? Steering? You don't want any of that, it only makes the vehicle heavier.
That looks familiar. Glad it didn't fall off on the way home!
Why bring the trailer? Did you have a copilot?
With the passenger seat out, the cockpit is very roomy. You could have put it in there and had the highest HP armrest ever.
