I came across a pair of sparco seats on clist. The guy is asking $375 for the pair with the exact set up I would need for my car(1G dsm, don't judge) and they are 20mins from my home. Now what are the odds of me ever coming across this deal ever again? Slim I think.

Just 1 problem. The add says that one is bent from a previous accident how bad I don't know. Can't see anything in the pictures.

So I was thinking stick the bent seat in the passenger side and mount the good one on the drivers side My car rarely has passengers.

Now the real question, is a bent sparco seat better than a factory seat?

no. i wouldn't re use any seat that's taken enough of a hit to be bent.

Sparco seats are fiberglass or carbon fiber. Can't really bend them w/o breaking them so....

or if somebody told you go get bent?

I'm not familiar with sparcos, but it sounds like they would be worth checking out, just be prepared for disappointment. Did the add on CL say what part of the seat was bent? It could just be the tracks, which on most seats are replaceable. If the frame work is bent I wouldn't even use them on grocery getter.

Not that it invalidates your point, but Sparco does make tube-frame seats.

But yeah, if it's bent, it's been weakened.

Offer the guy 200 for the pair, use the good one in the DSM, 'deskchair' the other.

Man you guys think way to much of your passengers. I kid, I kid. But seriously though the desk chair sounds good same with the racing game seat.
