My contribution (there was an even better one years back, can't find it).

I like this one. If his headlights were aimed a lil better, he might be able to see where he was going in all that smoke.

I like the one where the guy tries to do a burnout in his Corvette and smokes the clutch instead.
Not a huge fan of them.

I'm a ford guy, for a street car a 4th gear burnout with plenty of blower wine ain't too bad :)

Does this hold a candle to those?? No, but this is me, on the second to last day of school. My friend josh was doing the filming, and his laugh is haunting sometimes.

I've heard model airplane engines that didn't sound that bad. The poor 7 really didn't deserve that. I can't say I'm a burnout fan.

I have no idea why people enjoy watching other people wasting good money by ripping up tires with a car (sometimes even spinning until they blow).
As far as I am concerned, it qualifies the watcher for instant idiothood in my eyes. And its about as interesting to me as watching paint dry.

I think I was called an idiot...
I guess its your choice but it is very obvious you have never been to one of the competitions. These cars are built specifically to compete in burnout competitions and do so for very significant prizes.
They all spin until they break or blow the tires.
Everybody has their own likes and dislikes. I, for instance, dislike people who call others idiots because they watch something that the first person doesn't enjoy.

I have no idea why people enjoy E36 M3ting all over something other people enjoy doing. (sometimes even making a post about it)

Hey now,
I happen to LIKE watching paint dry, and I'm rather offended that you would use my pastime in your unpleasant comments.

That reminds me of a time on the old "Dilbert Zone" website when they took a poll to see who had the most boring job. One of the winners said this. "I work in a turf grass research facility where we are developing varies of grass that need less water. I get paid to watch grass grow slowly."

Oh, did I say 'idiot' out loud...? My apology (really) for nor exercising my inner censor and thinking about someone possibly taking my reaction personally.
There are as lot of pastimes that I can understand while not liking them myself - collecting Beanie Babies, football, hockey, beer - I get that others may enjoy such things even though I don't.
But there are some things, not many, that seem so bereft of any possible reason for being that I find them completely pointless. Spinning your tires until they burst happens to be one of them.
Another would be the car stereo fanatics that take part in maximum SPL contests. As an audiophile, I am into home sound and while I don't spend much energy on car stereo, I see the attraction of creating a nice system. But having contests to see how loud a sound you can make (well past the pain threshhold, so the cars are operated by remote control) leaves me agog, scratching my head, wondering WTF?
No offence meant to paint drying fans either!

I have to say, I knew your comment wasn't aimed at me, I just took it and played along.
I have to agree with the car audio db contests, but to each their own, at least its easy to sneak up on those guys to startle them.
I also have nothing against those who enjoy the marvels of contemplating anhydrate cosmetic pigmentation
