I would like to see a high quality version of this audi r10 tdi assembly video, I love the way they used mechanical noises to form the sound track.

That Ferrari video does take the cake for sheer awesomeness.

The 70's-spec car in :52-1:10 (of the Shell clip) really does it for me. That is such a sick exhaust note.

The problem with these commercials is that they're probably better than whatever show it is you're watching.

It would be pretty cool if there was more variation in the commercial format. Instead of the 30 or 60 second format, have some that occupy up to the full commercial break. If a company is already spending a lot of money on the slot, why not make short films that people actually want to watch? I vaguely remember seeing commercials with small plots that take place over the three commercial breaks within the show... this seems like it would be a really good format.

This video has been around for a long time, but still rates as one of the coolest videos I have ever seen.

For example, if BMW had aired "the hire" series on air. I would have loved to see "Beat the devil" in the middle of an episode of CSI.

If anybody has a copy of Alan deCadenet's (sic) "Eyes on Design" or whatever his show was on Ferrari I would love to buy it! The part where they just follow the P4 for 2-3 minutes listening to the exhaust is gold.

The yellow one in the wooded section of the track. Yeah, that was sexual.

    Evidence?

I've heard much conjecture on what car was used, but never anyone with any proof.

Lelouch himself has admitted it was his Mercedes.

The Wikipedia link doesn't work right; search google for un rendezvous and it's the first link.

Yup it's a good one. And almost 4 million hits on that video. Of course 3 miilion of those are from the GRM board alone.

I think the correct term should be "Ken Blocked".

In further news, if I owned a sushi bar, I'd come up with a Rick roll.

by the way, that is officially the most expensively produced advertisement in the history of the world. Shell and Ferrari spent a boat load of money on that ad....
