Hello all! A friend and I just picked up a E28 as a project, and we want to convert it to manual. I have a complete E30 parts car and I was wondering if the pedals, driveshaft, etc from the E30 would work. If not, where can I get the conversion parts?

I would be interested in hearing the answer to this question too. I never liked the E28 back when they were new, but I'd love one now.

Which e28 is it, a 528e or a 535i? If it's a 528e the transmission may work, but otherwise none of the other parts are the same as an e30. www.mye28.com is the de facto e28 website for tech advice.
